Patent Pending PATP1225.01

A virtual reality to real-time environmental adaptation apparatus for matching a virtual reality environment to a player’s actual environment includes a sensing module, a headset, and a computing device.  The sensing module is attachable to a vehicle, proximate to an axis of rotation for a wheel of the vehicle, and determines a location and measures speed, acceleration, pitch, yaw, and roll at, or proximate to, the wheel.  A player can don the headset to display a virtual reality environment.  The computing device comprises a memory component having computer-executable instructions stored thereon, which are executed by a processor to create the virtual reality environment and to calculate and execute adjustments, as necessary, to the virtual components to substantially match the player’s virtual reality environment to the player's actual environment.
